Amsterdam, 23 January 2026 – Real estate asset manager NLV has sold Pijnacker Centrum (the Ackershof shopping centre) in Pijnacker on behalf of Stichting Pensioenfonds Rail & Openbaar Vervoer (the Rail & Public Transport Pension Fund) to a group of private investors led by UMB Group.
Pijnacker Centrum (Ackershof) comprises approximately 8,350 sqm of retail space, divided into 30 units. Visitors can park in the underground car park, which provides convenient access to the shopping centre via a moving walkway and a lift.
The shopping centre plays an important role in the town centre of Pijnacker and offers a strong selection of daily necessities, complemented by services and other central functions. Tenants include Albert Heijn, Etos, Bakkerij Van Maanen, Keurslagerij Opstal, Bruna and Hunkemöller, among others.
The transaction is in line with NLV’s strategy to further optimise its portfolio. At the same time, the acquisition aligns with the strategic objectives and investment criteria of the UMB Group.
The seller was advised on this transaction by McDevitt and assisted legally by Lexence. The buyer was commercially advised by BRIKKS.
